MANILA, Philippines–The Philippines saw its semifinal hopes disappear after a 3-1 loss to Myanmar on Wednesday in the Asean Football Federation (AFF) U-18 Women’s Championship at Jakabaring Athletic Field in Palembang, Indonesia.

Two goals scored by Myanmar in the first half dashed any hopes of a favorable result for the female booters, who absorbed their second straight setback in Group B.
