Elaborate canapés circulated the room courtesy of Bubble Food. Delicious bites littered extravagant travel-themed trays under hot air balloons, in old school trunks or on tiny stands among gardens. Cherry tomatoes formed of slipcote cheese bites were dipped in a tomato gazpacho, while miniature sandwiches packed an indulgent punch filled with cream cheese and white truffle. A highlight of the menu was the bubble fish and chips – edible paper bites featuring the Condé Nast logo topped with tiny fish pieces and tartar sauce.
Publishing director Simon Leadsford and global editorial director Divia Thani – dressed in a Micheal Kors collection white suite – took to the stand to congratulate the Condé Nast Traveller team and thank our industry partners for their continued commitment to the brand.
The raising of glasses and rounds of applause marked the end of the speeches, and Joel from ALR Music was back on the decks to soundtrack the rest of the evening. As crowds spilled out onto the streets of Westminster, goodie bags in-hand, one thing was certain – this was a party no one will forget anytime soon.
