Take a Yeoman Warder tour

Discover 1,000 years of royal history at the Tower of London, the pleasure palace and prison complex that has kept watch over the capital since William the Conqueror ordered its construction. Yeoman Warder tours are the best way to experience the attraction, minds full of stories from every corner of the fortified site. See where treacherous enemies of previous monarchs lost their lives, learn about the lives of prisoners who entered through Traitors’ Gate, and keep an eye on the resident ravens – it is said that the kingdom and the Tower of London will fall if they ever leave the fortress.

The menu features some of King Charles III’s favourites such as cream of lemon pots and Dukeshill ham sandwiches, while sweet treats are embellished with the CRIII insignia, carriages and crowns.

See how the Georgians did it

Another London exhibition sure to interest Monarchists and history-lovers is Style and Society: Dressing the Georgians. The Queen’s Gallery in Buckingham Palace is exploring what the Georgians wore, displaying a series of archival pieces and fine art collections. The 1700s were a revolutionary period of trade, travel and technology which fuelled fashion trends across all levels of society, and highlights demonstrating this include a court dress on loan from the Fashion Museum Bath, recorded as having been worn at court in the 1760s.
