Bohol Travel Requirements 2022: Bohol Tourism Protocols for Tourists
Bohol is an island province in the Central Visayas Region famous for its summer travel destinations such as the Chocolate Hills, Mirror of the World and Botanical Park, century-old churches, cultural heritage sites, and white sand beaches. The best time to visit Bohol Island is during summer, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The summer season is also the time when the Chocolate Hills are in their famous chocolate brown color.
This also means loads of tourists and crowded outdoor settings. Visitors should practice COVID Precautionary Measures such as wearing face masks, frequent hand washing, physical distancing, and getting vaccinated. Domestic tourists and visitors can only enter Bohol Island through the Bohol-Panglao International Airport (BPIA) or other ports of entry like Tagbilaran City Port.
