Oktoberfest at Haugen
A Bavarian spread so good you’ll almost forget to sip on your stein? It could only be Haugen, Stratford’s multi-level dining, drinking and entertainment space, who are putting on a month of Oktoberfest events as the chill creeps in. The first-floor Alpine Lounge will host bottomless beer brunches, pairing 90 minutes of free-flowing ABK beer or bubbles with feast boards decked with smoked bacon frankfurters, ringed bratwurst, potato dumplings, roasted chicken and lots more sides for dipping and sharing – vegetarian spreads are also available.

Vauxhall Food and Beer Garden

Go bottomless for an hour of stein-sloshing on Saturday 8 October, or head down later in the month for a series of Saturday evenings hosted by Dapper Laughs. As staff dish out beers dressed in lederhosen, eye up the street food stalls – wagyu beef burgers, authentically tasty stuffed Greek pitas and cooked-to-order stir fry are all for the taking.
