9. Support Sustainable September
Think green this month as a host of sustainability-conscious initiatives pop up across the capital. Leading the way this week is Regent Street and St James’, as the two central neighbourhoods team up ahead of London Fashion Week. Lone Design Club and The Crown Estate have teamed up to bring eco-aware shoppers The Conscious Edit – a concept designer store celebrating the best in ethical independent wares. Tapping into the ever-expanding luxury rental market, Rotaro will have stylish pieces perfect for a temporary wardrobe addition. Pre-loved items of clothing can be brought in for repairs, while educational talks and presentations are taking place over the course of the month.
Address: 84-86 Regent Street, London W1B 5RS

Dates: Until Wednesday 28 September
10. Grab a boot fair bargain
Having been long resigned to the school fields of more rural spots, Dr. Martens and NTS Radio have teamed up to reignite our passion for the boot fair – with some not-so-traditional twists. Setting up in the heart of Brick Lane this weekend, the brands will bring together local brands and creatives from across the capital for an all-dayer of shopping, music and street-side dining. Get classic Dr. Martens cleaned up and refurbished at the Resouled x Depop pop-up, filter through vintage and one-off finds from local boot fair dealers and dance through the afternoon as acts including 404 Eros and Anu take to the decks.
Address: 148 Brick Lane, London E1 6QL
